NO, BUT WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN?!

Updated: Feb 2, 2019

Hey Hey Family! How are you??

Yes yes, I’ve been away for what seems like an age (to me at least), I haven’t uploaded in about a month, and honestly, it’s felt a bit weird, but I have been sooooooooo busy! April into May was hectic, and I guess this is the first time I’ve been able to properly sit down and blog (Do I perceive fleshly excuses? Probably yes, but Mercy!).

So, a quick update, Y’all, beginning of the month of April I went to Coffee and Prayer (Amazing event hosted by the beautiful Susan Deborahs (I already got my ticket to the next one in June lol!) where we spoke on the topic of ‘Living Your Best Life). I truly enjoyed the event and it was so lovely to meet my sisters in Christ! I just love the body of Christ and how God is answering prayers! My sissy C and I went to the event and we left just singing praises to God at the top of our lungs down the street lol (we probably looked crazy, but we love God like crazy).

Next up, was my sis’s first instruction class, went to support and get our exercise on and then went to dinner after. The class was.. stretching to ay the least and we ended up just praying and talking God and bible (I love hearing other interpretations of the Word and hearing how God saved others! He is truly everything to everyone).

Then the weekend after, I went to my sister’s (Chids again lol, hey sis!) book club! We read ‘Dusty Crowns’ by Heather Lindsey from March, and we sat in a beautifully quirky coffee shop and discussed the book over some vegan food and just sisterhood! It is honestly sooooooo refreshing to be around like-minded people and being sharpened by other Iron.

And then April’s grand finale was the RETREAT!!!! When I tell you I had the best weekend of my Christian walk at the end of April, it would truly be an understatement. The way God MOVED was just phenomenal, I met some MIGHTY men and women of God and I cant wait to tell you all about it in another blog post (maybe the next one? Maybe the one after? I have quite a few blog posts to write I know!). – I wish I could live at retreat if I’m honest.. (Dramatic? Maybe. But honestly, it was like we were the early day Christians, just communing, praying, eating, discussing Bible, discussing life, sharing everything – ahhhh, take me back).

Now, into May, first weekend I literally just slept and recuperated from a heavy month of events and fellowships, spent time with family, and trying out a new church (I’ll talk about this in another post), and going to bask in the sun with the girls and enjoy nature and each other’s company.

Second weekend, went to an event called ‘Say It With Your Chest’, where there were some heated discussions on Biblical and Millennial issues – so funny and good vibes. The wisdom that was shared and the banter we had was a lot! There are a lot of talented and beautiful people out here you know! Kingdom rappers and singers, spoken word artists, speakers, hosts, everything. Praise God!

*deep breath* And here we are! Told you I’ve been super busy – all this whilst still working, commuting and trying to get some quality time in with both God and family. But I’m back and better than ever. – Don’t know if you can tell, but I’m just really excited and reenergised – What God is doing right now, I can only thank and glorify Him.

But having said all this, I now need to try and master finding a balance because honestly, I cannot neglect what the Lord has called me to do, just because I’m doing other things – especially as the most important things we must do are those which He has called us to. Life is about balance, and being a good steward over the time God has given us. God has taught me some valuable lessons in this time also, and I hope to share these with you all soon.

I’m so so so excited for this year – we are only 5 months in and I’m just shocked, imagine what the rest of the year is going to be like?! I’ve got a good amount of events and things to look forward to over the next few months, so pray for me that I maintain the balance.

Ok, so now that I’ve caught you all up, let’s get back to business – my next blog post will be about trusting God when He doesn’t do what you thought He would. But for now, I hope you all are blessed – would love to hear from you! – Drop me a message or comment below, or better yet, follow my socials, reach out and see in real time what I’m up to!

Love, Peace and JOY!
